Sodium gluconate is widely used in industry. Sodium gluconate can be used as a high-efficiency chelating agent, steel surface
cleaner, glass bottle cleaner, electroplating industrial aluminum oxide coloring in construction, textile printing and metal
surface treatment and water treatment industries. It is used as high-efficiency retarder and superplasticizer in the concrete
industry.

Application of Industry/Food Grade Additives CAS 527-07-1 Raw Materials 99% Gluconic Acid Sodium Salt/Sodium Gluconate Powder
1. Used as cement blending agent: adding a certain amount of sodium gluconate to cement can increase the plastic strength of concrete, and has blocking effect, that is, delaying the initial and final solidification time of concrete.
2. Used as cleaning agent for iron and steel surface: if plating bowl, chromium plating, tin plating and nickel plating are needed to adapt to special purpose, the surface of steel embryo needs to be cleaned strictly, which is a strong combination of plating material and steel surface. At this time, the addition of sodium gluconate to the cleaning agent will achieve very ideal results.
3. Used as a special cleaning agent for glass bottles: the professional cleaning agent for glass bottles with sodium gluconate as the main formula can improve the following common problems: the descaling power is not strong, it is easy to block the nozzle and pipeline of the bottle washing machine; it is not ideal for bottle stickers and bottleneck rust removal; the trace residues after washing are not ideal for edible safety (such as phosphate residues); and the discharge of washing water is a public hazard.
4. It can be used in many industrial fields, such as electroplating, film manufacturing and so on.
