Propertiies: White to off-white or light pink crystalline powder. It is odorless, soluble in water (93g at 20ºC), insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. The properties are stable at room temperature.
Uses: Molybdenum is one of the essential nutrients for organisms. It directly or indirectly participates in almost all physiological and biochemical functions of organisms and plays an important role in biological activities. Molybdenum is one of the essential trace elements in human body, although its content is less than 0.01%, it plays a great role in the process of life. It is known as the "Four Diamonds" of human cancer prevention as selenium, iron and iodine. Many cancers, such as esophageal, liver and rectal cancer, are related to molybdenum deficiency. Molybdenum affects the metabolism of vitamins in plants. Studies show that the content of vitamin C in molybdenum-deficient plants decreases dramatically. Molybdenum is not only related to cancer, but also has obvious preventive effect on dental caries.
Studies have shown that L-aspartic acid has strong nucleophilic ability and can be used as a carrier of some metal ions to help them enter cells and be absorbed by the body.
Therefore, L-aspartate molybdenum chelate can be used as pharmaceutical raw materials and food additives, which can better complement the human body's demand for molybdenum.
